CNC Machine Operator

CNC Operator Job Description

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

· Run production on various machines (i.e. Haas CNC Lathes, Ecoca, Okuma LH, Haas Mini Mill).

· Ensure specifications are maintained for quality according to work instructions. All Operators are required to check parts during production runs

· Maintain equipment and supplies in work areas.

· Load programs as needed and adjust as needed.

· Troubleshoot as needed and report to supervisor.

· Maintains continuity among work shifts by documenting and communicating actions, irregularities, and continuing needs.

· Notifies Lead Man and or Production Manager of equipment malfunction.

· Adheres to established company policies and procedures such as safety regulations.

· Willing to perform other related duties as assigned.

Required Skills

· Ability to operate various CNC machines.

· Program & Set Up (can train) on Haas and Fanuc, G-Code

· Team oriented with strong interpersonal skills, You will be called upon daily to help fellow employees complete tasks, you must be willing to contribute to a TEAM atmosphere.

· Flexibility and adaptable to a changing work environment and work assignments.

· Able to be a self starter and motivator, and can handle constructive criticism.

· Working knowledge of basic math, and the ability to use measuring tools

o Micrometers

o Calipers

o Tape Measure

· Read and Comprehend Drawings.

· Initiates and drives continuous improvement efforts.

· Must be able to work with a diverse range of material and product.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $ $23.00 per hour
