Position Summary:
We are seeking friendly, professional Hosts and Hostesses to be the welcoming face of our full-service casual dining restaurant and bar. As the first and last point of guest interaction, you will be responsible for delivering a warm, inviting experience while efficiently managing waitlists, seating, and guest flow. You will play a critical role in setting the tone for the dining experience and ensuring smooth restaurant operations.

Responsibilities:

  • Greet guests promptly and warmly upon arrival, making them feel valued and welcome.
  • Manage waitlists and reservations accurately using the designated seating system or application.
  • Estimate accurate wait times, communicate effectively with guests, and monitor dining room activity to optimize seating efficiency.
  • Escort guests to their tables, presenting menus and introducing their server when appropriate.
  • Answer phone calls professionally, providing information regarding restaurant hours, menu offerings, and basic inquiries.
  • Assist in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the front lobby, guest waiting areas, and host stand.
  • Coordinate with servers, bartenders, and management to ensure smooth and efficient table turnover.
  • Uphold and promote brand standards, cleanliness, and a positive guest experience at all times.
  • Assist with To-Go orders and curbside pickup as needed.
  • Support service staff and management with opening, running, and closing duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Prior experience as a Host/Hostess or Server in a casual dining or full-service restaurant highly preferred.
  • Must possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a strong focus on guest service.
  • Ability to remain calm, courteous, and organized under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Professional appearance and demeanor required at all times.
  • Must have flexible availability, including night, weekend, and holiday shifts.
