Host/Hostess

Overview
We are seeking a friendly and energetic Host/Hostess to join our team at Cavo Lounge where energy meets elegance. Cavo is an upscale nightlife destination where style, music, and luxury collide. As our Host/Hostess, you'll be the first point of contact for our guests ensuring they feel welcomed and valued from the moment they arrive, setting the tone for an unforgettable evening. if you have a magnetic personality, excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and a passion for nightlife and entertainment, we want YOU to be the face of Cavo lounge

Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly as they enter the establishment and guide them to their tables.
• Manage reservations and VIP seating arrangements efficiently, ensuring minimal wait times.
• Provide information about the menu, specials, and restaurant policies to guests.
• Maintain a clean and organized front-of-house area, including the host stand and waiting area.
• Answer phone calls with proper phone etiquette, assisting with inquiries and reservations.
• Collaborate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure smooth service flow and guest satisfaction.
• Handle guest complaints or concerns with professionalism, striving for resolution.
• Utilize Aloha POS or other point-of-sale systems for managing reservations and orders as needed.

Requirements

• Previous experience in food service or hospitality is preferred but not mandatory.
• Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest relations and satisfaction.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and non-verbal, to interact effectively with guests and team members.
• Familiarity with POS systems, particularly Aloha POS, is a plus.
• Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• A positive attitude and willingness to help others are essential traits for success in this role.
