We are seeking a motivated and skilled Plumber to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems across various school buildings. Your expertise will ensure that all plumbing work meets safety standards, building codes, and project specifications. Duties

• Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems including pipes, fixtures, and appliances
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to ensure precise installation and repairs
• Use hand tools, power tools, pipe threading equipment, and welding techniques to complete tasks efficiently
• Collaborate with maintenance teams to coordinate plumbing activities within project timelines
• Perform heavy lifting and physical tasks required for pipe installation and system assembly
• Conduct remodeling projects by replacing or upgrading existing plumbing infrastructure
• Follow safety protocols and ensure compliance with local building codes and regulations

Requirements

• Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams accurately
• Mechanical knowledge of HVAC systems and piping systems is highly desirable
• Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and pipe threading machinery
• Strong understanding of plumbing codes, schematics, and safety standards
• Physical ability to perform heavy lifting and perform tasks requiring manual dexterity
• Basic math skills for measurements, calculations, and material estimations
• Prior experience with carpentry or maintenance person work is a plus
• Valid driver's license with commercial driving experience preferred for site transportation needs
• Knowledge of remodeling processes and assembly techniques beneficial
