Mint2 in Slingerlands—our newly opened, fast-growing fine-dining, craft-cocktail concept—is building an elite culinary team as we prepare for the Albany Food & Wine Festival competition. We are a fully scratch kitchen, rooted in beauty, precision, creativity, and an uncompromising commitment to excellence.

We are seeking a hard-working, ambitious, detail-driven Sous Chef / Line Cook who thrives in a clean, organized, professional kitchen and wants to grow with us as we continue expanding.

  • Working all stations with confidence: Grill, Sauté, Salad, Prep, and Dish

The Role

  • Assist leadership in daily kitchen operations
  • Execute dishes with accuracy, speed, and artistry
  • Keep the kitchen spotless and organized at all times
  • Maintain impeccable labeling, storage systems, and cooler organization
  • Support prep from scratch: chopping, blending, batching, flavor-layering
  • Handle all five stations with confidence and the desire to master each
  • Uphold the highest standards of food safety, sanitation, and consistency
