Tampa Bay Girls Academy - Secure is comprised of multiple co-located residential commitment programs serving high-risk and max-risk females' youth aged These programs provide services utilizing evidence-based practices to provide comprehensive care, treatment, and supervision. Youth will also receive psychotherapeutic services, including individual, family, and group counseling.
Pay: Starting pay is $55,000

What you will do: As a Shift Supervisor, your primary responsibility is to oversee the daily management and supervision of Group Living. You will ensure that ROP programs are implemented in accordance with ROP policies, procedures, and all federal, state, and local licensing requirements. Additionally, you will supervise Group Leaders, Youth Care Worker, and other staff as needed. This role involves direct care hours with at-risk youth to provide a supportive environment that addresses their needs. You will monitor and document student behaviors and activities, participate in and assist with educational, social, athletic, and recreational activities, and collaborate with other professional staff to establish and achieve each student's treatment plan goals.
Key responsibilities include:
- Supervising Unit Managers and Direct Care Staff to ensure consistency in implementing the Positive Operational Culture and other behavioral management programs.
- Overseeing daily operations of residential units, including staff scheduling, crisis intervention, and incident reporting.
- Ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local licensing requirements, as well as ROP policies and procedures.
- Providing leadership, coaching, and professional development for staff to enhance team performance and effectiveness.
- Monitoring and evaluating program effectiveness, identifying areas for improvement, and implementing necessary changes.
- Responding to and managing crisis situations, ensuring the safety and well-being of all individuals involved.
- Maintaining clear and accurate documentation of incidents, staff performance, and program operations.
To be considered you should: Have 3 to 5 years of experience in a residential treatment facility setting (related or equivalent experience may be considered with approval). Have a demonstrated ability to manage multiple individuals and projects. Be at least 21 years of age. Be able to pass a criminal background check, drug screen, physical, and TB test.
