Production Supervisor

Overview
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Production Supervisor to oversee second shift operations within our manufacturing facility. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, good communication skills, mechanical knowledge, and hands-on experience in factory environments. This role is vital in ensuring production efficiency, safety compliance, and quality standards are maintained across the assembly line and warehouse operations. The Production Supervisor will coordinate teams, manage workflow, and implement continuous improvement initiatives to optimize manufacturing processes.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate activities on the manufacturing floor, ensuring production goals are met efficiently and safely.
• Oversee assembly line operations, ensuring adherence to quality standards and safety protocols.
• Lead, train, and motivate team members to maintain high performance levels.
• Utilize hand tools, power tools, and mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot equipment issues and perform minor repairs.
• Operate or oversee forklift operations for material handling within the factory or warehouse areas.
• Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with the plant manager for timely material supply and product dispatch.
• Enforce safety policies and conduct regular safety audits to promote a safe working environment.
• Collaborate with management to implement process improvements and optimize workflow efficiency.

Requirements

• Proven experience in manufacturing or factory settings, preferably in a supervisory role.
• Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience using hand tools, power tools, and assembly equipment.
• Familiarity with assembly line processes and manufacturing best practices.
• Ability to lead a team effectively, demonstrating excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Knowledge of safety regulations within a manufacturing environment.
• Experience working with mechanical systems, assembly processes, and troubleshooting equipment issues.
