Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Food Booth Manager to oversee daily operations at our food service booth. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, extensive knowledge of food preparation and safety standards, and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service. This role involves managing staff, ensuring efficient food production, maintaining inventory control, and upholding high standards of cleanliness and safety in a fast-paced environment. The Food Booth Manager will play a key role in creating a welcoming atmosphere while ensuring operational excellence. You will be responsible for traveling to different cities/states.
Duties
- Supervise and coordinate all aspects of food booth operations, including food preparation, cooking, and serving.
- Manage staff scheduling, training, and development to ensure team efficiency and high-quality service.
- Oversee POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for accurate order processing and cash handling.
- Maintain inventory levels, monitor stock supplies, and coordinate with vendors for timely replenishments.
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and proper food handling procedures to uphold health standards.
- Implement quality control measures to maintain consistency in food presentation and taste.
- Manage shift operations, including opening and closing procedures, ensuring smooth transitions between shifts.
- Handle customer inquiries, resolve complaints promptly, and ensure overall customer satisfaction.
- Assist in budgeting, cost control, and waste reduction initiatives to optimize operational efficiency.
- Train new staff members on kitchen procedures, safety protocols, and customer service expectations.
- Maintain cleanliness of the work environment in accordance with health regulations.
Experience
- Proven management experience in a quick service & fast food restaurant or casual dining environment.
- Extensive background in food preparation, cooking, and kitchen management within the food industry.
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Square POS is highly preferred.
- Demonstrated experience supervising staff, managing shifts, and leading teams effectively.
- Knowledge of food safety standards and certifications related to food handling and sanitation.
- Prior experience in hospitality management or restaurant management roles is advantageous.
- Experience with inventory control, budgeting, training & development, and customer service is desirable.
- Background working in fine dining, casual dining, catering, or banquet settings is a plus. Pay: From $35,568.00 per year
