Speech Language Pathology Assistant

Description:

SLPA needed to work with elementary aged students at a school district, may neec to float between 2 school sites.

Location:

Inglewood, CA

Schedule:

Monday through Friday 8:00am-3:30pm

Compensation:

$38-45/hr depending on experience

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct treatment assistance to identify students under the supervision of a Speech-Language Pathologist
• Follow and implement documented treatment plans developed by a supervising SLP
• Document student progress toward meeting established objectives, and report the information to a supervising Speech-Language Pathologist
• Assist an SLP during assessment, assisting with formal documentation, preparing materials, and performing clerical duties for a supervising Speech-Language Pathologist

Requirements:

• Possession of valid registration as a Speech/Language Pathology Assistant with the California Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology Board
• One year experience working with individuals with speech and language disabilities in a structured environment
