Toyota of Kent is seeking a Service Department Receptionist & Rental Fleet Coordinator to manage daily service appointments, oversee our rental fleet operations, and perform a variety of administrative and clerical tasks. As the first point of contact for our dealership, you will play a key role in delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring smooth operations within the service department.

Responsibilities:

  • Answer, screen, and forward incoming phone calls
  • Coordinate and schedule service appointments
  • Manage rental fleet operations, including vehicle check-in/check-out, tracking availability, and maintaining accurate records
  • Ensure the waiting area is tidy and presentable
  • Provide accurate information in person, via phone, and email
  • Perform clerical duties such as filing, photocopying, transcribing, and faxing

Skills & Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a Receptionist, Front Office Representative, or similar role
  • Experience with rental fleet management or similar responsibilities preferred
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Hands-on experience with office equipment (e.g., fax machines, printers)
  • Professional attitude and appearance
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to be resourceful and proactive when issues arise
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking skills
  • Customer service-oriented mindset
  • High school diploma required; additional certification in Office Management is a plus

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $ $17.00 per hour
