Spice Blender Operator- 3rd Shift- Houston, TX

Job Details:

LOCATION NOT ACCEPTING REHIRES.

Functions:

• To perform all work duties safely, as well as maintain and promote the Tyson safety culture.
• Receive training as required.
• Perform other duties/positions as required/assigned.

Tasks:

• Move the completed pallets to the wrapping area utilizing a powered pallet jack and position to be shipped.
• Move completed pallets to the Shipping staging area utilizing a powered pallet jack.
• Clean and haul inedible to inedible room; clean and apply denature to inedible product.
• Move trash to trash compactor and compact trash. Inform the Supervisor is compactor is not working or is full.
• Bring material to the lines as requested by the Production Supervisor, Machine Technician, or Lead Pack-Off Person.
• Remove any unused items and return them to the warehouse.
• Inform receiving operator of any discrepancies in quantities and locations.
• Maintain the Warehouse and Production areas in an organized manner.
• Pallet Jack certified or must be certified.
• Immediately inform supervisor of quality/safety issues.

Physical Requirements: The successful candidate(s) must be willing and able to perform the physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation.

• Must be willing and able to lift and or move up to 50 pounds
• The Team Member is frequently required to walk.
• The Team Member will be regularly exposed to wet and/or humid conditions, moving mechanical parts, and extreme cold.
• The Team Member will work in an environment where the noise level is usually very loud.
