Nurse Practitioner

Position: Nurse Practitioner - Wound Care Specialist
Location: Central TX
Job Type: Part Time

Hours: Days – Monday through Friday

Work Location: on road

Pay: $60-$65/hr. commensurate with experience

Position Overview:
This position offers an exciting opportunity for individuals passionate about making a
meaningful difference in patients' lives.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive wound assessments and develop individualized

treatment plans for patients with acute and chronic wounds

• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to

ensure coordinated and effective wound care

• Provide education and counseling to patients and their families on wound

prevention, care techniques, and self-management

• Monitor and evaluate the progress of wound healing, adjusting treatment plans as

necessary

• Utilize evidence-based practices and stay current with advancements in wound

care.

• Go to patients homes and facilities and work with HH and facility staff to give

proper orders

Requirements:

● Current state NP license and certification
● Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills
● Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
● Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary healthcare team
● Travel will be required to provide onsite and mobile wound care treatment

Preferred Qualifications:
● Certification in wound care (e.g., Wound, Ostomy, and Continence Nursing
Certification)

● Experience with electronic health records (EHR) systems
● Knowledge of the latest wound care products and technologies
