Duties

• Greet customers warmly and provide exceptional service to ensure a positive shopping experience
• Assist customers in selecting products, offering detailed product demos to highlight features and benefits
• Conduct upselling by recommending additional items and accessories to meet customer needs
• Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems accurately for transactions, including cash handling and cashiering duties
• Maintain organized merchandising displays and stock shelves to attract customer attention
• Stock inventory efficiently, perform regular stock checks, and assist with inventory management
• Demonstrate excellent phone etiquette when handling inquiries or assisting remote customers
• Support store operations through basic retail math calculations for pricing and discounts
• Supervise or assist in supervising team members when needed, fostering a collaborative environment

Qualifications

• Previous retail sales experience is preferred; supervisory experience is a plus
• Bilingual abilities are highly valued to serve diverse customer bases effectively
• Familiarity with POS systems, cash handling, and cashiering procedures is essential
• Strong communication skills with the ability to engage customers confidently
• Experience with merchandising, stocking, and retail math enhances your effectiveness in this role
• Knowledge of grocery store operations or experience in grocery retail is advantageous
• Excellent phone etiquette and customer service skills are required to build lasting relationships with shoppers
• Ability to perform basic math calculations accurately for pricing, discounts, and transactions
