Direct Support Professional

Overview:
We are seeking compassionate individuals to join our team as Direct Support Professionals. As a Direct Support Professional, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals with diverse needs within their home and community settings.

Duties:
- Assist individuals with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, grooming, and dressing
- Provide home and community-based care to support individuals' independence
- Work with people on the autism spectrum to enhance their quality of life
- Offer caregiving services with empathy and respect
- Engage in meal preparation based on dietary requirements
- Be capable of heavy lifting when necessary
- Utilize social work skills to build meaningful relationships with those in your care
- Adhere to HIPAA regulations to maintain client confidentiality

Experience:
- Prior experience in caregiving or home care is preferred
- Familiarity with working with individuals who have autism is a plus
- Knowledge of social work principles for effective client support
- Understanding of HIPAA regulations and privacy practices in healthcare
