Job Overview
We are seeking a friendly and organized Host/Host to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, ensuring they feel welcomed and valued from the moment they arrive. Your primary responsibility will be to manage the seating arrangements, assist with guest inquiries, and maintain a positive dining atmosphere. A passion for hospitality and excellent customer service skills are essential for success in this position.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly upon arrival and provide them with a pleasant dining experience.
• Manage reservations and seating arrangements efficiently to optimize table turnover.
• Communicate effectively with guests regarding wait times and menu offerings.
• Assist in maintaining cleanliness and organization of the host stand and dining area.
• Handle guest inquiries and concerns with professionalism and courtesy.
• Collaborate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations during service.
• Utilize Aloha POS system for managing reservations and guest interactions.
• Uphold high standards of guest relations to enhance overall customer satisfaction.

Skills

• Previous experience in food service or hospitality is preferred.
• Strong communication skills to effectively engage with guests and team members.
• Excellent phone etiquette for handling reservations and inquiries.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Knowledge of guest services principles to foster positive relationships with patrons.
• Familiarity with hotel or restaurant operations is a plus.
• A proactive approach to helping guests, ensuring their needs are met promptly.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: From $15.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 35 per week
