Warehouse Supervisor

Job Overview

The Warehouse Supervisor oversees daily inbound and outbound operations, ensuring all materials are received, staged, and shipped safely, accurately, and on schedule. This role leads a material handling team, maintains dock organization and documentation, ensures compliance with safety and FIFO/FEFO standards, and supports inventory and stock rotation. The Warehouse Supervisor also assists with hiring, evaluations, scheduling, and performance management while maintaining strong communication with internal and external partners.

Wednesday-Saturday 5 AM – 3PM (1 opening)

Wednesday-Saturday 1 PM – 11 PM (1 opening)

Reports To: Warehouse Manager

Responsibilities:

· Ensuring all inbound and outbound loads are loaded in a timely and safe manner. This includes:

o Verifying sku's, batches, and counts and documenting any discrepancies

o Following all established safety procedures and protocols

o Inspecting material and trailers for contamination or damage

· Complying with FIFO or FEFO shipping standards

· Supervise Material Handling team who are primarily responsible for loading and unloading trucks

· Ensure all activities inside and outside the Receiving dock are completed in safe and efficient manners

· Maintaining organization of schedule, activity and area around the Dock, in compliance with 5S standards

· Ensuring that all inbounds and outbounds and staging are completed with 100% accuracy and paperwork traceability

· Insure verification of inbound and outbound staged materials

· Maintaining DOT documentation for all trucks and daily scanning activities

· Assign/Assist with inventory counts and proper stock rotation

· Interacting professionally with all internal and external stakeholders

· Communicating dock schedule to staff

· Cross train with Warehouse Coordinator

· Complete annual employee evaluation

· Participate in the interview process

· Maintaining accountability and work standards through Write Ups and Incident Reports.

· Approve employee PTO

· Ability to regularly lift, push or pull up to 70lbs

· Ability to operate heavy equipment in a safe manner

· Behave professionally with internal and external colleagues

· Administer third party contractors and maintenance as needed

· Other jobs or duties as assigned by the Warehouse Manager

Required Qualifications:

· High school diploma or GED

· 18 years of age or older

· Background in warehousing

· Background in Microsoft Office preferred

· At least 2 years forklift experience

· Ability to work full shift on-site in Cincinnati, OH

· Proof of eligibility to work in the U.S.
