Job Overview
We are seeking a professional and reliable Class A CDL Driver to join our transportation team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely operating tractor-trailers and other commercial vehicles to deliver freight efficiently across designated routes. This role requires a strong focus on safety, adherence to regulations, and excellent driving skills. The position REQUIRES tankers endorsement or willing to obtain tankers endorsement.

Responsibilities

• Operate tractor-trailers with manual transmission across short and long-distance routes

• Load and unload freight efficiently while ensuring cargo safety and security
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure proper functioning and safety compliance
• Follow all federal and state transportation regulations and company policies
• Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, deliveries, and vehicle maintenance records
• Adhere to delivery schedules while maintaining a high standard of safety on the road

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL license with a clean driving record
• Experience operating commercial vehicles such as tractor-trailers, flatbeds, tankers, refrigerated trailers, dump trucks, or roll-off trucks
• Proficiency in driving manual transmission vehicles
• Prior experience in freight delivery, route driving, or truck driving preferred
• Ability to load & unload freight safely using appropriate equipment such as forklifts when required
• Knowledge of DOT regulations and safety standards for commercial drivers
• Strong physical stamina to handle long hours on the road and lifting requirements when necessary
• Excellent navigation skills and familiarity with route planning software is a plus
