Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook menu items with precision, ensuring consistency and presentation excellence
• Assist in menu planning by preparing ingredients and suggesting improvements based on culinary experience
• Follow food handling and safety protocols diligently to maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment
• Support food service operations by efficiently managing meal preparation and timely delivery of dishes
• Handle food with care, using proper knife skills and cooking techniques to optimize flavor and texture
• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations during busy service times
• Contribute to catering events by preparing large quantities of food while maintaining quality standards

Qualifications

• Previous dietary department or dietary aide experience is highly desirable
• Proven restaurant or kitchen experience, especially in fine dining environments
• Strong food preparation, cooking, and food handling skills with attention to detail
• Knowledge of menu planning, meal preparation, and food safety regulations
• Excellent knife skills and proficiency in various cooking techniques
• Experience in food industry roles such as catering or serving is a plus
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safety
