Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Team Leader / Recruiter to join our human resources team. This role is vital in attracting, sourcing, and onboarding top talent across various departments. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership abilities, excellent communication skills, and extensive experience in talent acquisition and HR processes. As a key player in our recruitment strategy, you will manage end-to-end hiring processes, develop strategic sourcing initiatives, and foster relationships with candidates and internal stakeholders to support organizational growth.
Duties
- Lead and coordinate the full-cycle recruitment process, including sourcing, interviewing, and hiring candidates across multiple levels such as executive, campus, and internal recruiting.
- Utilize applicant tracking systems (ATS) like Workday, iCIMS, Taleo, PeopleSoft, and HRIS platforms such as SAP or UltiPro to manage candidate pipelines efficiently.
- Develop and execute effective sourcing strategies through social media management, cold calling, lead generation, and leveraging platforms like Salesforce, ADP, Kronos, Paychex, and HRIS tools.
- Conduct interviews and assessments to evaluate candidate skills and cultural fit while ensuring compliance with employment & labor laws.
- Manage talent management initiatives including succession planning, employee orientation, employee evaluation, and employee relations.
- Negotiate employment contracts and employment terms with candidates while maintaining positive relationship management throughout the hiring process.
- Collaborate with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and provide strategic advice on talent acquisition strategies.
- Lead training & development programs for new recruiters or team members to ensure continuous improvement in recruiting practices.
- Maintain accurate records of recruitment activities and generate reports for leadership review using ATS or HRIS systems like PeopleSoft or Workday.
Skills
- Proven expertise in technical recruiting, executive recruiting, campus recruitment, internal recruiting, and HR sourcing.
- Strong negotiation skills coupled with excellent communication skills for engaging candidates and internal stakeholders effectively.
- Proficiency with ATS platforms such as iCIMS, Taleo, Workday; HRIS systems including SAP/UltiPro; payroll systems like ADP or Paychex; time management tools such as Kronos; and social media management tools for candidate outreach.
- Knowledge of employment & labor law to ensure compliance during all recruitment activities.
- Experience with sales techniques including cold calling and lead generation to attract top talent proactively.
- Ability to manage relationship building with candidates at all levels of seniority through relationship management skills.
- Familiarity with training & development processes as well as succession planning strategies to support organizational growth.
- Strong research skills to identify potential candidates via various channels including social media platforms.
