Beauvais Rehab & Healthcare Center is a skilled nursing community committed to clinical excellence and compassionate resident care. We are seeking an experienced Admissions Director to join our team and support a strong admissions and referral process.
Admissions Director Position SummaryThe Admissions Director is responsible for managing the admissions process from referral through admission, ensuring excellent customer service, accurate documentation, and strong relationships with referral sources. This role is ideal for a motivated self-starter with skilled nursing experience and strong organizational and communication skills.
Admissions Director Key Responsibilities- Manage incoming referrals from phone and walk-in inquiries, collecting complete clinical and financial information for admission review
- Collaborate with the business office to ensure accurate financial verification prior to admission
- Secure family commitment to tour the facility on at least 80% of viable referrals
- Conduct facility tours and communicate services, policies, and expectations clearly
- Oversee the full admissions process, including paperwork, policies, and patient/family education
- Ensure a smooth transition for new admissions with complete and accurate documentation
- Track and communicate pending referrals, admissions, and follow-up needs to facility leadership
- Notify the Marketing Director of any referral source concerns or issues
- Build and maintain strong relationships with referral sources
- 2–3 years of admissions experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF), subacute, rehab, or healthcare setting
- Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail
- Excellent verbal and professional telephone communication skills
- Ability to manage referral calls efficiently while meeting family and referral source needs
- Experience using computer systems and marketing or referral tracking software
- Knowledge of the managed care industry preferred
- Maintain a professional appearance, demeanor, and communication style
- Adhere to company standards for addressing and resolving concerns
- Ensure all patient and resident rights are upheld at all times
- Monday–Friday
- 8-hour shifts
- Flexibility required to meet facility needs
