As a Patient Service Coordinator (PSC) you would be responsible for scheduling all visits based on patient's needs and running reports in HCHB computer program and maintaining ongoing communication with Clinicians, Patients and the Patient Care Director. You'll be an integral part of a team dedicated to providing high-quality, compassionate care to patients who need it most.
Principal Responsibilities:
- Supports organization's mission by striving for excellence in all aspects of their job with a focus on positive interpersonal relationship with co-workers
- Schedules and reschedules all visits based on patients' needs
- Runs reports including productivity, case count and missed visits
- Answers all staff related calls and refers clinical questions to appropriate staff member
- Works closely with Reimbursement to review list from private pay/managed care
- Adheres to the organization's policy in regards to absenteeism and appearance
Job Competencies & Minimum Qualifications:
- High School Diploma/GED required; Associate or Bachelor's degree a plus
- 2-3 years' office experience required; medical background preferred
- Strong computer skills and proficient in MS Office Suite
- Strong organizational skills
- Strong customer service and interpersonal skills
Working Conditions/Physical Demand: Business Office Environment with heavy phone and computer use
LI-AD1 -In compliance with New Jersey's Pay Transparency Act, the total compensation range for this position is USD $30,000.00 to USD $65, When determining an offer, VNA Health Group considers factors such as the scope and responsibilities of the role, the candidate's work experience, education/training, relevant skills, internal pay equity, and market and organizational conditions. The total compensation range reflects the total package, including base salary, overtime, bonuses, add-on incentives, special clinical compensation, retirement plans, and all other benefits.
