Electrical Calibration Technician

Job Title: Electrical Calibration Technician
Location: Chatsworth, Onsite
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM (Optional Overtime)
Salary: $30-45 per hour, depending on experience (DPE)

Position Overview:

We are looking for experienced Calibration Technicians specializing in Electrical Calibration. You'll ensure the accuracy and reliability of clients' measurement instruments, requiring precision, organization, and communication.

Responsibilities:

• Calibrate electronic instruments (Digital Multimeters, Oscilloscopes, Hipot Tester, Accelerometers, Power Meters, etc.)
• Calibrate standards and generate reports
• Inspect equipment and collaborate with engineers
• Provide technical guidance during audits
• Maintain safety and troubleshoot equipment

All calibration is to be performed in accordance with NIST traceable standards. MQC is A2LA Accredited to ISO/IEC 17025, ANSI/NCSL Z , and ANSI/NCSL Z

Requirements and Skills:

• Working Electrical/ RF Calibration experience required
• Manual instrumentation calibration experience required
• Military PMEL/TMDE/DOD training and familiarity with ISO 17025 standards preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills.
• Organizational, time management, and prioritization abilities.
• Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills to meet deadlines effectively.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. for potential onsite customer visits
• Valid driver's license, clean record, and U.S. citizen or permanent resident required.
