School Behavior Specialist in Saint Augustine, FL

This opportunity is for a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) supporting K-12 self-contained programs within multiple schools in the Jacksonville area. The position focuses on providing specialized behavioral support to educators by offering consultation, observations, and data-driven strategies to improve student outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with teachers in 5-7 schools to develop and implement behavior support plans
• Conduct Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs) and analyze behavioral data
• Offer recommendations and modeling strategies for behavior intervention techniques
• Assist staff with data collection methods to track student progress
• Support school teams in creating positive, effective learning environments for students with behavioral challenges

Qualifications And Experience

• Active BCBA licensure required
• Experience working in K-12 educational settings, especially self-contained classrooms
• Strong knowledge of behavior analysis principles and intervention strategies
• Effective communication and collaboration skills for working with educators and school teams
• Ability to manage an itinerant caseload across multiple schools

Location & Schedule:

• On-site role in the Jacksonville, FL area (Saint Augustine vicinity)
• Full-time, approximately 35 hours per week
• Contract position with start ASAP through May 28, 2026
