Responsibilities

• Efficiently clean and sanitize dishes, utensils, cookware, and kitchen equipment to uphold health and safety standards
• Assist with food prep tasks such as washing vegetables, organizing supplies, and supporting basic kitchen operations
• Support the catering team during events by ensuring all dishware and utensils are ready and properly cleaned
• Maintain cleanliness of the dishwashing area, including sinks, counters, and storage spaces
• Help with bussing tables and clearing dining areas during busy service times to ensure a smooth flow of operations
• Follow proper food handling procedures to ensure safety and hygiene in all tasks
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to support overall food service and hospitality goals

Requirements

• Previous experience in food service, restaurant, or hospitality environments is preferred but not required—training will be provided
• Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks such as lifting heavy loads of dishes or supplies
• Strong attention to cleanliness, organization, and safety standards
• Willingness to work weekends, evenings, or flexible hours as needed
• Knowledge of basic kitchen operations, including bussing, cleaning, and food handling practices is a plus
• Enthusiastic team player with excellent communication skills
• Prior banquet or catering experience is advantageous but not mandatory
