We're seeking a dynamic Controller to join our fast-growing, multi-entity business in this newly created position. Reporting directly to the Chief Administrative Officer, this key role supports four companies and 100+ employees.

Key Responsibilities

Financial Reporting & Analysis

  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual P&L statements, cash flow, EBITDA calculations, and detailed margin analysis
  • Produce combined and combining financial statements across all entities
  • Maintain accurate deferred revenue calculations related to our customer loyalty program
  • Manage intercompany reconciliations including due to/due from entries and expense allocations.
  • Manage / track accounts payable and receivable
  • Record monthly journal entries for depreciation, amortization, prepaid expenses, and accruals.
  • Oversee inventory costing, inventory reconciliations, inventory counts and reserves in conformity with GAAP.
  • Prepare for financial statement purposes current and deferred income tax accruals in accordance with GAAP.
  • Coordinate with third party valuation specialist, as needed, related to fair value measurements and impairment analysis.
  • Prepare R&D accounting calculations for technology development costs
  • Analyze and allocate costs related to "labor and shipping out" to ensure accurate margin tracking and reporting
  • Build and analyze trailing 12-month performance reports, rolling forecasts, and custom dashboards

Compliance & Audit Support

  • Maintain and report on borrowing base certificates, financial covenant calculations, and lender covenants
  • Collaborate with Chief Administrative Officer and UHY LLP Accounting Firm to support annual audited financial statements, including schedules, data gathering, and audit readiness
  • Handle all sales tax, excise tax, and income tax filings and documentation, in coordination with Chief Administrative Officer and external advisors

Planning & Scaling

  • Drive annual budgeting, quarterly reforecasting, and long range financial planning
  • Forecast cash needs, optimize working capital, and support capital allocation decisions
  • Lead or assist with the planned evaluation and possible transition from QuickBooks to NetSuite, including process improvements, migration mapping, and team training

Team & Process Leadership

  • Supervise and develop members of the accounting team, setting standards for excellence, integrity, and continuous improvement
  • Collaborate cross functionally with other departments to support business initiatives and strategic decision making
  • Identify gaps in controls and propose enhancements to policies, workflows, and systems

What You Bring

  • 5+ years of progressive experience, including:
  • Minimum 2+ years in public accounting (audit/assurance experience with Big 4 or regional firm preferred)
  • 2+ years in a retail, ecommerce, or consumer goods company with inventory exposure
  • Demonstrated fluency with QuickBooks, and familiarity or interest in transitioning to NetSuite
  • Strong background in audit coordination, multi entity consolidation, and margin/cost analysis
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills
  • Strong business acumen
  • Comfortable with in office work; willing to relocate or commute to Drums, PA

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $120, $140,000.00 per year
