HHA/CNA-Weekly Pay

Part time/Per Diem CNA/HHA: $21-$23/hr

CarePlus TLC is seeking a dedicated, compassionate, CNA/Home Health Aid with a passion for serving others to join our team

This role requires a commitment to delivering high-quality care while maintaining a clean and safe environment for clients. The successful candidate is self-motivated, reliable, compassionate, and committed to creating a positive experience in our client's lives

We have clients located in and around the greater Grand Rapids area in need of care.

Available shifts vary from 4-12 hours Sunday-Saturday. After a Probationary period of 90 days and merit review, a pay increase will be granted.

This position is in multiple locations working up to 40 hours per week. This position requires staff to assist Care Plus TLC with opening new cases and covering open shifts on multiple cases. MUST be willing to travel Must be flexible

CNA/Home Health Aide Responsibilities

• Provide Activities of Daily Living care as outlined in the Care Plan-bathing, dressing, feeding, etc.
• Perform light housekeeping duties to maintain a clean-living space for clients.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills… able to communicate effectively with patients and their families.
• Monitor client's vital signs and report concerns/changes in condition to appropriate medical staff
• Transfers patient with equipment using appropriate safety measures (gait belt, Hoyer, sit-to-stand lifts)
• Ability to turn and reposition patients
• Complete electronic documentation while on shift
• Medication reminders
• Provide companionship and basic emotional support
• Adhere to HIPAA regulations and maintain patient confidentiality.

CNA/Home Health Aide Qualifications:

• Home healthcare experience preferred but not required
• 1 year experience as caregiver-MUST
• Willing to travel in and around the Grand Rapids area
• Familiarity with basic nutrition and personal hygiene standards
• Knowledge of basic medical terminology
• Ability to undertake a variety of diverse care tasks and work as a team member
• Compassionate and able to handle tough situations as needed
• Current CPR certificate
• Valid driver's license
• High school degree
• Must be able to pass state and federal background checks, as well as a drug test
