Pet Parent Relationship Manager

Overview We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Pet Parent Relationship Manager to join our team, focusing on expanding our customer base and maintaining the highest standards of client satisfaction in our dog daycare, boarding, and spa services. This role is critical in driving lead generation and ensuring our pet parents feel that their furry family members are receiving the highest level of care. There is significant upside for growth in this role, including paths to profit sharing and equity. $50k+ Core Responsibilities Sales & Business Development Generate New Client Revenue: Convert lead calls to Meet & Greets and track the percentage of leads converted to scheduled visits. New Client Acquisition Commission: Earn a 20% commission on all sales generated above baseline. Flexible Client Acquisition: Meet & Greets often occur at random times, and the PPRM is recommended to be flexible in scheduling and available to come to the facility to close new clients and maintain existing. Drive Sales Initiatives: Be proactive and results-focused in achieving sales goals, constantly striving to up-sell services. External Marketing & Outreach: Execute marketing strategies, including nurturing partnerships with realtors and leasing offices to drive referrals and expand reach. Web Inquiry Management: Manage web inquiries and respond to them as soon as possible, but within one business day. Advertising & Budget Management Budget Oversight: Manage an annual advertising budget of $10,000 (User requirement). Marketing Execution: Implement marketing activities, which may include joint advertising campaigns or distributing materials like Resident Offer Postcards or Referral Cards to partners. Client Relationship & Retention Client Retention: Manage maintaining the current level of clients and focus on retention of and frequency of daycare visits. High-Traffic Interaction: Be present at the location to converse and meet with pet parents daily from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM for pick-up times. Exceptional Customer Service: Practice the 3 Ss: smile, story, and satisfaction. Deliver a customer experience that sets the highest standards. Issue Resolution: Answer all questions, concerns, and complaints with urgency and care. Qualifications & Competencies Must love dogs. Proven Sales and Customer service experience is required. Strong customer service skills are essential. Ability to work cohesively with others in a fun, fast-paced environment. Proactive, quick thinker, emotionally intelligent, and a strong rapport builder. Ability to work flexible hours. Facility is open 7 days a week, meaning weekend flexibility may be required to meet customer needs. Operating hours often extend throughout the week, such as Monday through Friday from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM and Sat/Sun from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Be knowledgeable on pricing and services. Compensation and Benefits This role offers a comprehensive package designed to reward performance and commitment: Fixed Hourly Wage: $10–$15/hour will be paid for the required, fixed shifts (3:00 PM – 7:00 PM). Performance Compensation: All other necessary work time ("PPRM time") is tied to overall salary/performance metrics, commissions, and bonuses. 20% commission on sales above baseline set on past year performance.
