Maintenance Director

As a Maintenance Director, you play a vital role in creating a safe, functional, and welcoming environment where residents feel protected, supported, and at home. We are seeking a knowledgeable, dependable, and hands-on Maintenance Director to oversee all aspects of facility maintenance, safety, and compliance. Your leadership will directly impact the quality, appearance, and safety of our environment, ensuring our residents enjoy the exceptional care and comfort they deserve.

• Oversee, schedule, and ensure timely completion of all maintenance and repair tasks
• Conduct regular facility inspections focusing on safety, appearance, building condition, and equipment performance
• Maintain a clear understanding of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, mechanical, and other core building systems
• Ensure all work complies with State/Federal regulations, OSHA requirements, and facility policies
• Demonstrate strong knowledge of Life Safety, NFPA guidelines, and the LTC Life Safety Survey process
• Respond to on-call needs and emergencies in a reliable, professional manner
• Supervise maintenance staff, contractors, and vendors as needed
• Maintain accurate documentation and ensure timely follow-through on maintenance requests
• Multi-task effectively while staying organized, proactive, and solution-focused

• Proficiency across major building systems (HVAC, plumbing, electrical, mechanical)
• Working knowledge of code compliance and building safety standards
• Experience with OSHA, NFPA, and Life Safety regulations
• Supervisory/management experience in a maintenance or facility operations role
• Strong time management, communication, and leadership skills
• Ability to be "on call" as required
