Bartender

Overview
We are seeking an enthusiastic and professional Bartender to join our dynamic hospitality team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for delivering exceptional customer service, a strong knowledge of beverage preparation, and experience in fast-paced food and beverage environments. This role involves creating a welcoming atmosphere for guests, managing drink orders efficiently, and ensuring compliance with food safety standards. Prior experience in fine dining, nightclubs, or banquet settings is highly valued. The successful will contribute to an engaging guest experience while maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safety.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages accurately and efficiently using POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS.
• Engage with guests in a friendly, professional manner to enhance their overall experience.
• Manage multiple drink orders simultaneously while maintaining excellent time management skills.
• Ensure all beverages are prepared according to standard recipes and presentation guidelines.
• Maintain cleanliness of bar area, including glassware, utensils, and work surfaces, adhering to food safety protocols.
• Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and cashiering duties.
• Restock bar supplies as needed and monitor inventory levels.
• Comply with all applicable laws regarding alcohol service, including checking IDs and refusing service to intoxicated guests.
• Assist with catering events, banquets, or nightclub functions as required.
• Uphold responsible beverage service practices at all times.

Skills

• Proven experience in food service or hospitality environments, especially in fine dining, nightclubs, or banquet settings.
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests professionally and courteously.
• Excellent time management skills to handle busy service periods efficiently.
• Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures.
• Basic math skills for accurate cash handling, retail math understanding, and calculating bills or tips.
• Experience with serving alcohol responsibly in compliance with legal requirements.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure in fast-paced environments like nightclubs or catering events.
• Strong communication skills and teamwork orientation to collaborate seamlessly with staff members.
