Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and energetic Manager to lead our vibrant barbecue restaurant, ensuring exceptional customer experiences and smooth daily operations. As a key leader, you will oversee all aspects of restaurant management, including staff supervision, food quality, customer service, and operational efficiency. Duties
- Lead daily restaurant operations, ensuring efficient workflow and exceptional customer service in a quick service and fast food restaurant setting
- Supervise and train staff on food preparation, cooking techniques, food handling, and customer service standards
- Manage inventory control, including ordering supplies, monitoring stock levels, and minimizing waste internal systems
- Oversee cash handling procedures, reconcile registers, and ensure accurate financial transactions
- Implement food safety protocols in compliance with health regulations; monitor kitchen cleanliness and food production standards
- Conduct staff interviews, training sessions, and performance evaluations to develop a high-performing team
- Manage shift schedules, assign duties, and ensure smooth restaurant flow during busy hours
- Maintain budget adherence by controlling costs related to food production, labor, and supplies
- Foster a welcoming atmosphere that emphasizes hospitality management principles and superior customer service
- Support catering events or banquet functions as needed to expand restaurant offerings
Qualifications
- Proven experience in restaurant management or food service management within casual dining or quick service environments
- Strong supervisory skills with previous supervising experience in hospitality or kitchen management roles
- Knowledge of food preparation techniques, cooking processes, and food safety standards
- Familiarity with POS systems; cash handling experience required
- Excellent leadership abilities with a focus on staff training & development and team management
- Ability to handle multiple responsibilities efficiently in a fast-paced setting
- Experience with inventory control, budgeting, and cost management in the food industry
- Exceptional customer service skills with a passion for hospitality excellence
- Prior experience in managing shifts within a restaurant or catering environment is highly desirable
- Strong communication skills coupled with the ability to motivate and lead diverse teams
