Sheet Metal Mechanic

Responsibilities:

• Measure, cut, fabricate, and install sheet metal ductwork and components for HVAC systems.
• Read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and shop drawings.
• Assemble and install ducts, fittings, and related equipment in accordance with codes and standards.
• Operate hand tools, power tools, and sheet metal machinery safely and effectively.
• Ensure installations meet quality and safety requirements.
• Collaborate with supervisors, project managers, and team members to complete jobs on schedule.

Requirements:

• Sheet Metal Mechanics: 3+ years of experience in ductwork fabrication and installation.
• Sheet Metal Installers: 1+ years of experience (apprenticeship or entry-level acceptable).
• Ability to read blueprints and use measuring tools accurately.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
• Physical ability to lift 50+ lbs, climb ladders, and work in various environments.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Commercial HVAC installation experience.
• OSHA 10 or 30 certification.
• Welding or fabrication skills a plus.
