Full-time temp teacher's aide

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Full-time Temp Teacher's Aide to support classroom teachers in providing an engaging and nurturing learning environment for students. Job will be for about 6 months from Jan 2026 to June 2026. This role is ideal for individuals passionate about early childhood education and committed to fostering the academic and social development of children. Applicants must have a high school diploma/GED and be fun, energetic, caring and love being around children. Experience working with young children is preferred.

Duties

• Assist lead teachers in implementing lesson plans across subjects such as literacy, math, and curriculum development.
• Support classroom management and behavior management strategies to promote a positive learning environment.
• Assist with classroom organization, setup of educational materials, and maintaining a clean and safe environment.
• Engage children in age-appropriate activities that foster social skills, literacy education, and early childhood development.
• Support teachers in documenting student progress and communicating effectively with parents and staff.
• Qualifications
• Prior experience working with children in educational or childcare settings is preferred.
• Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with teachers, parents, and students.
• Ability to work well with people of diverse backgrounds and abilities in a team-oriented environment.

Pay: $16.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 per week
