CNC Programmer (Senior level)
Job Description

M&J Precision is looking for a senior level CNC Programmer. This position will be responsible for providing CNC programs for manufacturing Aerospace parts, fixtures, and tooling using the latest version of Mastercam software.

Responsibilities

• Create CNC programs for 3, 4 & 5 axis machining and turning centers.
• Create solid models, as required
• Thorough understanding of blueprint reading and GD&T.
• Ability to help machinist with set ups and machining processes.
• Complete knowledge and understanding of tooling.
• Assist the Manufacturing Lead in continuous process improvement.
• Produce in a fast paced close tolerance environment.
• Ability to use Microsoft Office software
• Working knowledge of ISO/AS9100 procedures related to the position.

Qualifications

• Associates degree/2 Year Tech School diploma preferred; High School diploma or equivalent required
• 5+ years CNC Programming experience as a CNC Programmer
• Experience with Multi-axis part programming with Mastercam.
• Experience with Mill-turn programming of parts larger than 48" a strong plus.
• Understand GD&T
• Ability to understand blueprints and drawings.
• Knowledge of all typical inspection equipment.
• Advanced shop math skills
• Understand of ISO/AS9100 requirements (preferred)
• Comply to all safety regulations, wears appropriate safety equipment as required in each area of the facility.
