If you thrive on balancing people, process, and product, this role is for you. You'll run the bending area and powder coat paint line, steering production to meet quality expectations at the best possible cost—on deadline and in alignment with our standards.
How you'll leadTranslate build plans into executable schedules; align component and sub-assembly readiness and pivot with Purchasing when shortages occur. Direct daily work across bending, systems integration, and testing to maintain flow and first-pass yield. Hire and train talent; set goals, provide feedback, recognize achievements, and address performance concerns. Represent your area in cross-functional planning; recommend the right mix of space, headcount, and equipment. Cut unplanned downtime with preventive maintenance programs and rapid repair coordination. Author and refine departmental policies, standard work, and methods; seek measurable improvements in throughput and quality. Delegate effectively—clarify ownership, empower independent work, and verify outcomes. Be the first responder for technical questions and production issues; coach the team through problem-solving. Report on internal metrics so leaders can see progress and act quickly. Own nonconformance management: detect issues, implement corrections, and assign follow-up actions. Keep the shop stocked and organized; manage tools and equipment readiness. Ensure every timecard and quality record is accurate and complete. Balance staffing with demand by approving vacation/time-off schedules. Champion safety and housekeeping; enforce all work rules consistently.
Duties may be updated as operations scale or change.
Where you'll focusCore ownership of the bending (press brake) area and the powder coat paint line. Prior paint line experience is required.

- 2–5 years of hands-on powder coat paint line experience.
- English/Spanish bilingual ability is a plus.
- Background combinations welcomed: 1–2 years related experience; or 2 years of college with 3–5 years progressive experience; or high school with 7–10 years progressive experience; or equivalent blend.
- Strength in Supplier Management and team supervision.
- ERP software for scheduling, material coordination, and reporting.
- Powder coating application equipment, including paint sprayers.
