AV / VC / UC Level 3 Tech

The Role:

  1. The Audio Visual-Unified Communications Level 3 will deploy and support our Audio

Visual and Unified Communications global estate. The candidate will work with our

managed services to lead implementations of technically appropriate AV/VC/UC &

Telephony products (Ring Central). This role is responsible for identification and

selection of appropriate Audio Visual and Unified Communication tools based on

requirements and constraints, has deep subject matter expertise, and can evaluate

new technologies for fit in current infrastructure architecture. This role will be

required to support to customer's 4 main offices, NY, London, Paris & Hong Kong.

Some other remote site travel may also be required if required. (Travel charges will be

reimbursed)

  1. Specific duties & responsibilities will include but are not limited to

  2. Manage enterprise network audio-video-related projects. Develop and maintain

appropriate documentation.

  1. Troubleshoot video issues on network and report progress on various projects and

installations.

  1. Drive the adoption of video conferencing service usage via Zoom, Teams and/or

Webex.

  1. Follow, review, and recommend process changes and standards for design and

documentation where necessary.

  1. Plan and coordinate the expansion of video and voice network technology. Perform

Unified Communications software and hardware upgrades, including the installation

of video conferencing and A/V equipment

  1. Interface with Projects and Infrastructure teams, site walkthroughs, design, ordering

equipment, receiving and installing equipment, and provide support model for

equipment (end- to-end management). Provide project status on a regular basis as

project team requires.

  1. Collaborate with Operations and Production departments in support of Events,

Sales, exhibitions and special projects related to build outs, renovations, adds,

moves and changes.

  1. Executive Level Support (C Level, VP, Directors) for unified communication matters

11.Communicate effectively in person, over the phone, and through email clearly

translating information and concepts surrounding IT Unified Communications.

  1. Provide local and remote collaboration support; work with remote Desktop support

to resolve issues, work with remote users (internal and external) to successfully

connect with existing video conferencing equipment and communicate services

between and across different groups and levels internal and external to the

organization.

  1. Tier 3 end user support for all Unified Communications (collaborative applications

and video), ability to perform troubleshooting on integrations and support A/V

designs in existing and future video- conference rooms and offices.

14.Design, develop, and oversee implementation of end-to-end IT UC systems.

15.Develop and execute test plans to check IT cloud infrastructure and systems

technical performance. Report on findings and make recommendations for

improvement.

16.Communicate effectively in person, over the phone, and through email clearly

translating information and concepts surrounding IT Unified Communications.

The Candidate

  1. Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, computer engineering,

system analysis, or a related field, or equivalent work experience

  1. 5+ years of experience in audio-visual implementations and/or videoconference

network engineering with Cisco Telepresence infrastructure.

  1. Experience with Cisco endpoints and infrastructure (Control Hub)

  2. UC infrastructure (Ring Central)

  3. Experience with Webex administration and other web/audio collaboration platforms

and services, specifically Microsoft Teams and Zoom.

  1. Strong infrastructure implementation and project deployment experience

  2. Experience in supporting system migrations and experience with AMX and/or

Crestron AV Control systems. Working knowledge of A/V concepts around audio and

video signal types, routing, and cabling, including Production devices i.e.

Ross,Blackbox, Dante, Matrox.

  1. Proven analytical, evaluative, and problem-solving abilities with keen attention to

detail.

  1. Proven ability to drive successful results across multiple functional areas

  2. Excellent interpersonal skills as well as proven written and oral communication skills,

and the ability to present ideas in business-friendly and user-friendly language.

  1. Strong interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills to help influence and

work with others collaboratively and constructively Highly self-motivated and

directed.

  1. Extensive experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment globally

  2. Well versed in Desktop technologies (Windows 10, Macintosh and Office 365)

Collaboration technologies (WebEx, Teams, SharePoint, One Drive), Server

Technologies and Network Technologies.

  1. Good prioritization skills, to balance key priorities.

  2. Strong analysis and critical thinking skills.

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: Up to $25.00 per hour
