Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Experienced Installation/Service Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in installing, troubleshooting, and servicing various security systems. This role requires a strong technical background, excellent problem-solving skills, and a commitment to delivering outstanding customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install & repair all aspects of CCTV (analog and IP), Access Control, Burglar Alarm, and associated peripheral equipment

• Perform routine maintenance and service on existing security systems to ensure optimal performance and reliability

• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other team members to ensure successful project completion

• Maintain accurate documentation of all installations, service calls, and maintenance activities

• Stay current with industry trends, technologies, and best practices to continuously improve skills and knowledge

• Follows safe and secure practices to safeguard against injury, damage to property and confidential information based on both company and client safety standards

Qualifications:

• 3+ years of experience in installing, servicing, and troubleshooting security systems in a similar position

• Manufacturer Certifications: Honeywell, Kantech, VideoEdge, American Dynamics, ProWatch, Victor, VMS or other types of security platforms

• Experience with CCTV (analog and IP), Access Control, Burglar Alarm, and other associated equipment

• Working knowledge of MS Office and basic computer functions

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact professionally with clients and team members while ensuring confidentiality

• Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent qualification

Physical Demands & Safety

• Ability to lift and carry heavy equipment, climb ladders, and work in various environments

• Ability to effectively use hand and power tools

• Ability to work in all weather conditions

• Valid driver's license and a clean driving record

• Must possess a valid driver's license with a clear driving record

• Must pass a pre-employment drug screening and background investigation

• Ability to travel
