Lifeguard

Job Overview
We are seeking dedicated and vigilant Lifeguards to join our team. The ideal candidates will be responsible for ensuring the safety of all pool patrons while providing excellent guest services. This role requires strong swimming skills, a commitment to maintaining a safe environment, and the ability to respond effectively in emergency situations.

Duties

• Monitor pool activities to ensure the safety of all swimmers.
• Enforce pool rules and regulations to prevent accidents.
• Perform rescues and administer first aid and CPR when necessary.
• Conduct regular safety checks of the pool area and equipment.
• Assist in pool cleaning and maintenance tasks to ensure a clean environment.
• Provide exceptional guest services, addressing any concerns or inquiries from patrons.
• Participate in training sessions and maintain certifications in lifeguarding, first aid, and CPR.
• Assist with heavy lifting as required for pool maintenance tasks.

Experience

• Previous experience as a Lifeguard is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided.
• Certification in Lifeguarding, First Aid, and CPR is required prior to employment.
• Strong swimming skills are essential for this role.
• Experience with pool cleaning and maintenance is a plus.
• Excellent communication skills and a friendly demeanor are necessary for effective guest services.
• Minimum age to Lifeguard is 15.
• Pay ranges from $13-$16 per hour for Guards under the age of 18
• Pay ranges from $15-$18 per hour for Guards 18 and older
