Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and skilled Embroidery Machine Operator to join our manufacturing team. This role involves operating embroidery machinery to produce high-quality customized apparel and accessories. The ideal candidate will have experience in garment construction, sewing, and manufacturing processes, with a strong focus on precision and efficiency. Warehouse experience is a plus, as it supports smooth production flow and inventory management. This position offers an excellent opportunity to develop technical skills within a dynamic production environment.
Responsibilities
- Operate embroidery machines to create designs on various garments and textiles according to specifications
- Set up and adjust embroidery equipment for different projects, ensuring proper tension, alignment, and thread color changes
- Monitor machine operation throughout production runs, troubleshooting issues promptly to minimize downtime
- Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of embroidery machinery to ensure optimal performance
- Inspect finished products for quality standards, including stitching accuracy and design placement
- Assist with inventory management of embroidery supplies such as threads, stabilizers, and garments
- Collaborate with the design team to interpret artwork files and prepare machines for production
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment at all times
Qualifications
- Experience operating sewing machines or embroidery equipment is highly preferred
- Knowledge of garment construction and sewing techniques is a strong advantage
- Prior manufacturing or warehouse experience is beneficial for understanding production workflows
- Ability to read and interpret design files and technical specifications accurately
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on quality control
- Good mechanical aptitude for troubleshooting machine issues
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of craftsmanship
- Prior experience in a warehouse setting is a plus but not required
