We are seeking a certified and experienced Forklift Operator to join our team in Colorado Springs, Colorado. In this vital role, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of forklifts to move, locate, relocate, stack, and count merchandise. This position is critical to the smooth functioning of our warehouse and logistics operations. You will ensure that inventory is handled with precision and care, contributing to accurate stock levels and timely order fulfillment. Compliance with all safety regulations, including the correct use of PPE, is non-negotiable. Experience with various types of forklifts and material handling equipment is highly desirable. This role demands physical capability and a keen eye for detail in all tasks. Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts to transport materials, goods, and equipment within the warehouse.
- Load and unload trucks and containers safely.
- Perform daily inspections of forklifts and report any issues immediately.
- Maintain accurate records of inventory movements.
- Ensure that all warehouse areas are kept clean, organized, and safe.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, including proper Lifting techniques.
- Utilize appropriate PPE at all times.
- Assist with shipping and receiving operations as needed.
- Collaborate with other warehouse staff to ensure efficient workflow.
- Participate in regular safety training sessions.
- Valid forklift operator certification and a proven record of safe operation.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience operating forklifts in a warehouse setting.
- Ability to perform heavy Lifting (up to 60 lbs).
- Strong understanding of warehouse safety regulations and Logistics best practices.
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and mechanical aptitude.
- Ability to work flexible hours and overtime if required.
- Demonstrated reliability and punctuality.
- Good communication skills.
