We are seeking a highly skilled and licensed Master Plumber to lead and execute plumbing projects across residential and commercial construction sites. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in construction plumbing, blueprint reading, and mechanical systems, with the ability to manage complex installations, repairs, and maintenance tasks. This role requires a strong understanding of building codes, safety standards, and the ability to work efficiently on-site to deliver quality results. The Licensed Master Plumber will also oversee team members, coordinate with project managers, and ensure all work complies with industry regulations.
*Responsibilities*
* Lead plumbing installation, repair, and maintenance on various construction projects, including residential, commercial and remodeling sites.
* Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to ensure accurate project execution.
* Perform construction estimating for plumbing tasks and materials needed for projects.
* Operate hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, pipe threading machines, and other mechanical tools safely and effectively.
* Conduct heavy lifting of materials and equipment as required on-site.
* Manage field service activities including troubleshooting plumbing issues in real-time.
* Coordinate with carpenters, HVAC technicians, and other trades to ensure seamless project progress.
* Ensure all work adheres to building codes, safety standards, and project specifications.
* Oversee pipe fitting, threading, soldering, welding, and installation of plumbing systems.
* Read schematics and technical manuals to diagnose problems accurately.
* Maintain a clean and organized work environment while managing multiple projects simultaneously.
*Requirements*
* Valid Master Plumber license with current certification.
* Extensive experience in construction plumbing, site management, or related field service roles.
* Proficiency in blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, and mechanical knowledge related to plumbing systems.
* Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, pipe threading machines, and other relevant tools.
* Knowledge of HVAC systems is a plus along with experience in remodeling or maintenance projects.
* Ability to perform heavy lifting and physically demanding tasks regularly.
* Strong understanding of construction estimating processes and basic math skills for measurements and calculations.
* Experience working on construction sites with familiarity in safety protocols and OSHA standards.
* Valid driver’s license for commercial driving if required for project transportation or material delivery.
* Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to read technical schematics accurately.
* Handyman experience or background in assembly and remodeling is advantageous but not mandatory. This position offers an opportunity to lead significant projects while utilizing a broad skill set within the construction industry. Candidates must demonstrate professionalism, technical expertise, and a commitment to safety standards at all times.
Pay: $70,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
