Azure cloud transformation , and they’re looking for an experienced
Cloud Solution Designer
to shape how cloud is adopted at scale. This role is not about building infrastructure day to day. It’s about
designing the right cloud operating model
so platform and delivery teams can build safely, consistently and at pace. 3-month contract
(mid-February start) UK-based / remote-friendly What you’ll be doing: Performing technical due diligence on an existing Azure estate against Microsoft best practices Designing
governance frameworks, policies and standards
that balance security with developer autonomy Defining recommendations for
Azure landing zones, resource organisation and platform architecture Producing
clear, practical documentation and templates
that engineering teams will actually use Working closely with security, infrastructure and architecture teams to align on cloud operating models Evaluating tooling and automation approaches such as
Bicep, Terraform and Azure Policy What we’re looking for: Deep expertise in
Azure governance, security and platform design Proven experience
designing cloud operating models
for large enterprises (not just implementing them) Confidence working with senior stakeholders to drive alignment on complex decisions A pragmatic mindset – knowing when “good enough to start” beats over-engineering Nice to have: Experience in highly regulated environments Knowledge of federated operating models Why this role?
