Business Transformation – Business Analysis Team
About The Role We’re looking for a curious, analytical, and confident Business Analyst to join our Business Transformation function. This role plays a key part in bridging the gap between strategy and delivery, helping ensure change initiatives are clearly defined, well understood, and successfully implemented across the Bank. You’ll work closely with stakeholders across the business to define requirements, improve processes, and support technology and operational change. This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to meaningful transformation within a specialist banking environment.
Key Responsibilities Business Analysis & Requirements Definition
Engage with stakeholders to elicit, define, and document business requirements
Produce clear process flows, functional and non‑functional requirements
Apply appropriate analysis techniques to support solution design
Translate complex business needs into clear, actionable documentation
Change Delivery & Implementation
Support initiatives across the project lifecycle — from analysis through to testing and delivery
Assist with user acceptance testing (UAT) and triage defects to support prioritisation
Act as a liaison between business users, solution architects, developers, testers and third‑party suppliers
Data, Reporting & Insights
Apply data analysis techniques to support business scenarios and reporting needs
Support the identification of opportunities to improve efficiency, controls, and outcomes
Collaboration & Best Practice
Work closely with fellow Business Analysts to identify inter‑project dependencies
Champion best‑practice ways of working across Business Analysis at HTB
Share knowledge and contribute to continuous improvement within the team
Governance & Risk
Support regulatory compliance, audit, and risk obligations
Ensure delivery aligns with HTB’s operating standards and risk management framework
Who You’ll Work With You’ll collaborate with:
Business Sponsors and Subject Matter Experts
Operational and Back‑Office teams
Business Transformation, Delivery and IT teams
External suppliers and solution partners
What We’re Looking For
Proven experience in Business Analysis within change and transformation environments
Strong analytical and abstract reasoning capability
Experience supporting system implementations and process change
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to present complex information clearly and concisely
Experience working with third‑party suppliers
Highly organised, self‑motivated, and comfortable working to fixed deadlines
Curiosity and a desire to deeply understand business processes
Experience in lending, banking, or financial services is desirable
