My duties and responsibilities will include: Entering employment data into the company database Answering any employee inquiries Issue contracts of employments and any other letters of employment Coordinating logistics for new hire orientations Collecting, calculating, and entering data in order to maintain and update payroll information Gather and examine timesheets to ensure they are complete and accurate Update payroll records by entering changes to employee pay rates, exemptions, insurance coverage, savings deductions, and job title and department/division transfers Calculate and issue employee payments and deductions Prepare payroll reports for management as needed Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll, wage, and hour laws and best practices Respond to employee inquiries regarding payroll issues and concerns Coordinate with HR department to ensure correct employee data Perform administrative tasks such as maintaining employee database and sorting emails for the HR department Any other tasks as required by the Director of HR
