Job Summary:
This housekeeping job involves the general cleaning of the Woodbines Stable and Grounds areas to ensure they are sanitary, tidy, and welcoming with attention to detail to meet Woodbine Entertainment's cleanliness standards and support guest comfort offering a welcoming experience
Key Responsibilities:
Cleaning & Sanitizing: Sweep, mop, vacuum, dust, polish floors, windows, furniture, and surfaces, clean and disinfect bathrooms, offices and public areas.
Supply Management: Replenish supplies (soap, paper products, etc.) and restock as needed.
Waste Disposal: Empty trash cans and replace liners. This may include working outside at times
Maintenance Reporting: Identify and report any needed repairs, damages, or safety hazards to Manager while ensuring safety protocols are met.
Qualifications:
Industrial and office cleaning experience
Must have and maintain a valid Ontario driver's licence "G" or "G2"
Able to operate industrial cleaning equipment
Required to work with detergents and solvents
Able to understand, read and converse effectively in English
Available for shift work, weekends, holidays and overtime.
Able to lift up to 50 lbs.
Solid understanding of WHMIS and Health & Safety procedures.
Familiar with source separating procedures.
