As an early-career Scheduler in our Project Services department, based in Montréal or Toronto, you'll support project managers and project controls leads in planning, scheduling, change management, and performance monitoring. You'll help establish and maintain the Performance Measurement Baseline (PMB), develop detailed schedules, and contribute to project controls reporting. This role supports projects across Canada, requiring bilingual communication skills to collaborate effectively with teams and clients in both English and French.

Your Impact

  • Develop and maintain project schedules using Primavera P6 or Microsoft Project to support successful project delivery.
  • Collaborate with project managers and engineers to gather inputs and update schedules throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Support the creation of baseline schedules and scenario planning to assess schedule impacts and risks.
  • Contribute to progress reporting and variance analysis, helping teams stay on track and informed.
  • Assist with resource loading, cost integration, and critical path analysis to optimize timelines and outcomes.
  • Ensure alignment with WSP's project control standards and client requirements.
  • Help drive continuous improvement in scheduling tools and processes across the business.

The Skills That Set You Apart

  • Post-secondary education in engineering or construction management, with 2+ years of relevant experience (internship or consulting firm experience welcome).
  • Hands-on familiarity with scheduling tools like Primavera P6 or Microsoft Project.
  • Bilingual proficiency in French and English to support national project delivery and client engagement.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • A growth mindset—eager to learn, take initiative, and contribute to a collaborative team environment.

Compensation:
  • BC, AB, SK, NWT & NU: $66,700 – $88,400
  • MB & ON: $60,900 – $83,800
  • Atlantic Provinces & QC: $60,300 – $80,000
