We are hiring a dedicated Receiving Clerk for our Tampa, Florida warehouse. In this role, you will be instrumental in managing the accurate and timely processing of all incoming goods. Your attention to detail will ensure that our inventory records are precise and that products are ready for distribution, supporting the smooth flow of our logistics operations. Maintaining a high standard of Safety and efficiency is paramount.
Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and verify incoming shipments against purchase orders and packing slips.
- Inspect all deliveries for damage and report any discrepancies immediately.
- Accurately record all received inventory into the warehouse management system (WMS).
- Stage products appropriately for put-away and distribution.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe receiving area.
- Adhere to all company Safety policies and procedures, ensuring the correct use of PPE.
- Operate pallet jacks and forklifts safely (certification preferred).
- Assist with inventory control tasks, such as cycle counting and stock verification.
- Communicate effectively with vendors, drivers, and internal departments regarding receiving activities.
- Support the overall efficiency of the warehouse logistics by ensuring prompt and accurate processing of all inbound stock.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a warehouse receiving role is highly preferred.
- Proficiency with WMS and other inventory tracking software.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including moderate Lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Strong organizational and record-keeping skills.
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
- Solid understanding of warehouse Safety regulations.
- Forklift operation experience is a plus.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced logistics environment.
