We are seeking a reliable and motivated Warehouse Associate to join our dynamic logistics team in Sacramento, California. This role is crucial for the efficient operation of our warehouse, ensuring timely processing and shipment of goods. The ideal candidate will be adept at handling a variety of warehouse tasks, contributing to a smooth workflow from receiving to dispatch. Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and process incoming inventory.
- Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment accurately and efficiently.
- Operate various warehouse equipment, including pallet jacks and forklifts (certification preferred).
- Conduct regular inventory checks and cycle counts to maintain accuracy.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies, including the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Assist with maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the warehouse floor.
- Load outgoing shipments onto trucks.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve daily operational goals.
- Identify and report any damages or discrepancies in inventory.
- Perform other duties as assigned to support the logistics department.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics environment is a plus.
- Ability to perform strenuous physical labor, including frequent Lifting of up to 50 lbs.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Basic understanding of inventory management principles.
- Commitment to workplace Safety and following all protocols.
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
- Flexibility to work varying shifts if needed.
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) is beneficial.
