We are seeking a dedicated and efficient Order Picker to join our dynamic logistics team in Des Moines, Iowa. As an Order Picker, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our customers receive their correct orders accurately and on time. Your primary responsibility will be to accurately retrieve products from warehouse shelves based on customer orders, using a handheld scanner or other provided technology. This role requires a keen eye for detail and a commitment to maintaining inventory accuracy. You will be responsible for selecting the right items, in the correct quantities, and ensuring they are prepared for the next stage of the shipping process. Attention to detail is paramount to minimize errors and ensure customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, adhering to strict safety protocols, and collaborating effectively with team members. - Accurately pick customer orders using RF scanners or pick lists.
- Locate and retrieve products from various warehouse locations.
- Verify picked items against order specifications.
- Report any discrepancies or damaged items immediately.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures.
- Operate pallet jacks or other material handling equipment as needed.
- Collaborate with other warehouse staff to ensure efficient workflow.
- Achieve and maintain target productivity levels.
- Participate in regular inventory counts.
