We are seeking an experienced and motivated Warehouse Supervisor to lead our team in Fort Worth, Texas. As a Warehouse Supervisor, you will oversee daily warehouse operations, manage staff, and ensure the efficient and safe handling of all inventory. Your leadership will be instrumental in driving productivity, maintaining high standards of accuracy, and fostering a positive work environment within our logistics hub. You will be responsible for training, scheduling, and supervising warehouse associates, as well as implementing and enforcing company policies and safety regulations. This is a key role for individuals with strong leadership skills and a solid background in warehouse management and logistics. We are committed to operational excellence and employee well-being.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise and direct the activities of warehouse staff, including scheduling, training, and performance management.
- Oversee all aspects of warehouse operations, including receiving, put-away, picking, packing, and shipping.
- Ensure efficient inventory management and accuracy through regular audits and system updates.
- Implement and enforce all company safety policies and procedures, ensuring a safe working environment for all staff, including the proper use of PPE.
- Monitor and manage operational efficiency, identifying areas for improvement in logistics processes.
- Maintain equipment and ensure a high standard of housekeeping throughout the warehouse.
- Communicate effectively with other departments to ensure smooth workflow and resolve any issues.
- Responsible for lifting heavy items and overseeing operations that require significant physical exertion.
- Develop and implement operational improvements to enhance productivity and reduce costs.
- Serve as a point of contact for issues related to logistics and operations.
Qualifications:
Previous experience in a warehouse supervisory role is required. Proven leadership and team management skills. Strong understanding of warehouse operations, inventory control, and logistics principles. Knowledge of OSHA regulations and safety best practices. Ability to motivate and manage a team effectively. Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities. Proficient in using warehouse management systems (WMS). Must be able to manage tasks requiring physical strength and ensure the safe lifting of materials. Commitment to fostering a safe culture and adherence to PPE guidelines is mandatory.
