Join our growing team as a Material Handler in Columbus, Ohio! We are looking for individuals passionate about supporting our warehouse operations and ensuring the efficient flow of materials. This role is critical to our overall logistics strategy, involving the movement, storage, and organization of a wide range of products. You will be responsible for handling materials with care, maintaining accurate inventory, and contributing to a safe and productive work environment. Your efforts will directly impact our ability to serve our customers effectively.
Responsibilities:
- Unload and load materials from trucks and other vehicles.
- Transport materials throughout the warehouse using appropriate equipment.
- Organize and stack materials according to established procedures.
- Assist with receiving and putting away incoming stock.
- Perform inventory counts and assist with record-keeping.
- Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the warehouse.
- Strictly follow all Safety guidelines and use required PPE.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to meet operational demands.
Prior experience in a warehouse or material handling position is preferred. Candidates must be physically capable of frequent Lifting of up to 50 pounds and comfortable working in a physically demanding role. A strong emphasis on Safety and adherence to protocols is mandatory. Good communication skills and the ability to work well within a team are essential. Familiarity with basic logistics principles is a plus.
